Symbol for on important / active accept Documents
For readers it is not always clear which documents are the most important. After clicking on a document that our Users find at their Dashboards (Unread Documents), those documents disappear and can only be found in the categories. We often publish documents that are marked with the option "on active accept" and are therefore very important because those documents and especially the User performance need to be shown to the authority when asked. Our Users constantly complain about not seeing the difference between normal documents and documents that have a checkout. I am wondering if it would be possible to have the option to mark those documents in a certain way. Wheter those documents can be marked with a color or even better there could be a symbol infront of those documents. We have the option to time limit a document and then a symbol in front of the document appears (for the editor only). This would be such a great feature if this would be possible for on active accept documents not only for editors but also for readers (for example an exclamation mark).

I like your idea. As a workaround, I can suggest the Tags feature in the administrator Document settings:
You may define a group and a tag for the group. In the example below, I used "Checkout Required" for the group and "checkout" for the tag:
The next step is to assign the "checkout" tag to the manuals that require checkout in your company. You do this at the document level, via general settings. If no tags have been created, the field Tags below is not shown.
In the Pages settings, enable Tags for the Dashboard:
In the reader Dashboard, activate the Tags panel:
Your dashboard will then present the Tags panel as follows:
Once you click the "checkout" tag (shown with a folder icon), you will see the collection of all manuals to which you assigned the "checkout" tag.
Unfortunately, it isn't possible to set custom colours and icons for tags in WM. I do hope this will be improved some time ahead.

this is actually a really great idea!! I am working with tags already but they were not as accepted by our users as I thought it would be but using them for checkout documents would be really helpful. Thank you so much for your input.
Also I received an information yesterday, that icons for documents that are marked with a checkout option will be released in the future. :)

If you have seen our new Reader App, you may have noticed that when a document is under Unread, there is a symbol that indicates if the manual will be checked out when opened, on active accept or quiz:
It will soon be working the same way on the web. We believe this future feature and Bruno's suggestion will make it easier for you.

Hi Virginie Pilić, I just saw this Feature a couple of days ago in the Reader. This is really great and I already know, that our Users will love it!
