Root Category Permission
Right now if a user has access to the root category, they do not inherit the same permissions for sub categories. This is a problem as multiple roles need to be updated when a sub category is added.

In addition to the ability to assign sub-categories when selecting the parent category, we would like to have the option to create an automatic permission template based on selected criteria.
In addition to Patrick's suggestion, I would suggest to add a tick button "Apply parent folder permissions" when creating a subfolder.
This would clearly help administrators to apply a basic default permission.
