iPad functionality improvements
We have received the following suggestions/requests from crew (iPad/EFB users) for product enhancements:
1 – the tool bar at the bottom of the page on the iPad – it is possible to change the size of the icon options or spread them out? This would make it easier for the crew to use. Not sure if this is configurable in our profile.
2 – The zoom function (to enlarge a page) is different for Web Manuals format documents vs PDF documents.
On the PDF document it will enlarge the whole page, but in the WM format documents it enlarges the selection only, so you lose the rest of the text.
Can this be consistent, and allow a zoom in WM Format that keeps the whole page?
3 – the Slider bar at the bottom of the iPad page, when in a Web Manuals format document, takes you through the pages, but doesn’t state what page you are on. It would be good to see the page number (same as it does when in a PDF document or in Reader on the desktop version).
4 – When a change request is being entered (and the device is in Landscape mode), the request box disappears or is covered up when the keyboard is on the screen, so the user cannot see what they are typing. It is possible to have the change request dialogue box move on the screen so that it can be seen?
5 - When in a Web Manuals format document, the 'move tool bar' functionality works - to drag a function to the side from the bottom, however it doesn't work for a PDF document (only the bottom tool bar is possible). Can this be available for all documents?
We appreciate your assistance with the above questions.
