Managing Prior Approvals and Non Prior Approvals
Dear WebManuals Team and Users,
We are currently experiencing some challenges in managing Prior Approval and Non-Prior Approval changes within our manuals.
At the moment, approval waiting times from our CAA are quite long, which means we often need to 'park' certain changes until we have the approval. Our current workaround is to add strikethrough text to those sections and publish the manual as needed for non-prior approval changes. However, this process becomes quite a hassle, as we repeatedly need to remove and reapply the strikethrough formatting whenever we send previews or publish updated versions.
We would greatly appreciate hearing how others are handling this process. Do you have any best practices or tips to manage Prior and Non-Prior Approval changes more efficiently?
Kind regards,
Simon

Dear Simon,
We deal with the same situation with our Authority, we currently have several cases effectively "frozen". We’ve been using partial reviews as a way to manage the process more efficiently. It’s not a perfect solution, but in many cases it definitely helps keep things moving.
I hope it helps.
Kind regards,
Pilar
