When “Specific Pages” is used in a revision, the abbreviations list is restricted to those pages only.
To keep the full abbreviations list intact, editors must effectively select all pages.

Yes, the same thing happened to me, and it actually made me stop using the abbreviation list because it’s incompatible with partial revisions. The reason is that it only includes the abbreviations found in the selected pages.
It would be great if this module worked more like the effective pages list, which takes into account the changes in the selected pages while keeping the rest exactly as it was in the previous revision.
