Option to Turn Off Tab Refresh When Tab is Clicked

I am requesting an option to turn off the automatic refresh of tabs when they are clicked in the online Reader. This functionality could be replaced with a flag in the tab to alert the user if there is a new revision available.

Most of my users live in parts of the world that have very limited internet speeds. The tab refresh function makes the Reader almost unusable in these locations.
