Filter GM and and potentially AMC in the new Compliance library

Dear WebManuals Community,

While documenting our procedure for handling regulatory changes with the new Compliance Library, I noticed that, although the existing filter options are very useful, an additional filter to exclude GM (and possibly AMC) would be beneficial for our workflow.

In our case, we do not create links to GM, so these changes generally do not require any action. However, there are often significantly more GM changes than actual regulatory requirement changes. This makes it easier for an important change to the applicable requirements to be overlooked among the larger number of GM updates.

An optional filter to hide GM—and perhaps AMC as well—would help us focus on the changes that require action while still allowing users who need them to include them.

Would this be useful for anyone else?

Thank you for considering this idea!

Best regards

  • Hi Michael, I can totally see your point here.

Although we cannot include this right away, I have at least added your request as an improvement suggestion 🌞

Just out of pure curiosity and to understand how you use our CL products better, why don't you mark those requirements as Not Applicable? It, of course, does not work as a filter, but it would potentially still help your users get a better overview of what's important 🤔
