User-Defined Header/Footer Markers
I would like to request the option of user-defined header/footer markers for Page Designs. It would be very helpful to have one or two customizable header/footer markers at the document level.
For example, I would like the ability to insert a location (e.g., North America, Europe, Africa) into the footer section using a header/footer marker. Without this functionality I am forced to create a separate Page Design for each location. A customizable header/footer marker could be used for any user-defined purpose, not just location. And it would reduce the number of extra Page Designs required to insert this content into a header or footer.
This functionality already exists for Short Codes, which are user-defined at the document level. Replicating that functionality to have one or two additional user-defined header/footer markers would be much appreciated.

After writing the above, I also found that Custom Modules already have this functionality through "Module custom markers." Making that same feature available within Page Designs would also solve this issue.
