Change log for set amount of revisions
Hi All,
Does anyone know if a change log can be set to track changes from previous revisions too?
We had a request from our network to include the past 3 revisions in the change log that shows the revision number, date and comment. So people who have been out of the business have an overview of changes while they've been away (if multiple revisions have been released).
For example:
- Person A has been on leave for a month (lucky person).
- The GOM has been updated 3 times in this period.
- Person A returns to work (not so lucky after all).
- Person A sees the latest change and the previous 2 that happened while they were on leave right there on the change log in the document.
Thanks in advance.

Hey Kendrick,

I might have an option for you, but it does not only include the Change Log, but also the Indications of the changes on the side of the pages.
Also, it won't allow to properly track if changes had been applied two times in row on the same section.
eg.
rev1: this was the original text.
rev 2: this was the revised text.
rev 3: this is the most current text.
the system will only show the change from rev1 to rev 3 if I'm not mistaken.
Best Regards
Thank you for the reply, Does this show the previous changes in the change log too? or just the revision bars? It would be nice to have this as a set and forget feature instead of having to manually adjust the "Track changes from" value each time.
I appreciate the response, this is a feature we have not yet used so far so leaning on other experience is valuable for me.
