reset document checkout dates periodically
Is it possible to reset document checkout dates periodically in Web Manuals?
Hi everyone!
We are looking for a way to require pilots to acknowledge certain documents at least once a year, even when those documents have not been revised or updated.
Ideally, we would like to periodically reset the checkout status so that pilots are required to read and acknowledge the documents again, allowing us to keep a record of their annual acknowledgement.
Since this requirement applies to a large number of documents, manually deleting and re-uploading them every year would not be a practical solution.
Has anyone faced a similar requirement or found a way to automate this process in Web Manuals?
We would really appreciate any suggestions, workarounds, or best practices you could share.

We believe this would be a valuable enhancement in Web Manuals. It would help organizations ensure that critical content intended to remain valid over long periods of time is periodically reviewed and acknowledged by users, while maintaining a clear audit trail of those acknowledgements over the years.
We can see significant value in having the ability to reset acknowledgements automatically at defined intervals without requiring document revisions or manual re-uploading.
