Showing and printing diagrams
Diagrams can only be inserted in the web manuals document when published. Many other modules in Web Manuals allows the user to select the unpublished version to be shown (e.g. content mirror) maybe that would be an option for diagrams as well?
Furthermore, to print out a diagram one has to create a WM document first. An easier printing of diagrams directly out of the module would be good.

Thanks for the suggestion. We have already created an improvement ticket regarding the possibility to print a diagram directly out of the module (MANUALS-5831).
We have version control of Diagrams, but it is not the same as a revision in a document. Publishing a diagram just means locking in the changes and making them available to be seen outside of the editor.
So to answer your question, at the moment we are not planning to add the function you suggested.
