Web Manuals Release notes 2025.10.0

Release notes
Version: WM 2025.10.0
Release date: 29-10-2025

Improvements

  • We now block users from being archived if they have compliance library-related ownership, form ownership, manual ownership, are assigned to incomplete tasks or if they are recipients of targeted emails. This will prevent responsibilities from being lost when a user is removed. - MANUALS-7003
  • Under Reports and User performance there is a button allowing for an immediate warning email to be sent to the displayed user. To avoid emails being sent out without reason, this button is removed if the user does not have unread documents. Additionally we hide the envelope button in User Performance overview if there are no unread documents and for manage users we removed the “assigned documents” button if the user has no documents. - MANUALS-7943
  • When downloading a file document from the reader it was named wrong, it will now be named correctly after the file name. - MANUALS-8325
  • We renamed the descriptions covering mirror module connections. They are now named: “Contains sections from other documents” and “Mirrors sections to other documents”, to avoid misconceptions. - MANUALS-8902
  • Users are now able to unlink their currently connected support email in the system, allowing them to add a new one afterwards. - MANUALS-8969
  • In word import, we now have an option to ignore direct stylings on text. If you allow these on your site, they can be brought in from Word, affecting the standardized expression. Now the stylings can be ignored. - MANUALS-8988

Bugs

  • Downloading files in the reader will no longer cause the file name to be “file”. It will be named after the document name in Web Manuals. -  MANUALS-8287
  • Transferring document ownership from one user to another from Manage Users will no longer result in the old owner falsely being claimed the owner together with the new owner. - MANUALS-8642
  • We fixed a wrong selection color in Manage Categories, this was caused by a previous update. - MANUALS-8733
  • After changing the way we display header text in information tables the applied text would sometimes show the cached data from the reference key and not the intended information. This has been solved, and now the correct information should be shown in your information overviews. - MANUALS-8793
  • Sites with Amelia Co-Author active will now once again be able to copy and paste tables properly. -  MANUALS-8916
  • Fixed sidebar Table of Contents. Expand and collapse should now work properly again. - MANUALS-8946
  • Compliance links to headings in a PDF document will now navigate the user to the correct heading. - MANUALS-8953
  • When saving in editor, the navigation sidebar will now remember if you have Table of Content active and will not revert to pages overview. - MANUALS-8982
  • We now ensure that we send annotation data correctly when highlights and annotations are fetched from Manual data. - MANUALS-8987
  • We improved the way our word import maps headings for more consistent results. - MANUALS-9006
