Basic Editing Tools for Definitions

When adding a definition in Web Manuals, it is only possible to insert plain text as there are no editing tools. Some aviation definitions can have bullet/numbered lists, tables and even both.

For example, the EASA definition of "flight monitoring" has bullet lists:

The EASA definition of "acclimatised" has a table:

In my opinion, the definitions module should provide some basic editing tools to cover these cases. At Widerøe, this is the reason why the module is not in use and we added definitions in their own text sections.

  • Great Idea from Bruno. Could we also have a limit on who can change/add definitions and abbreviations? In this way you can prevent editors from changing definitions on their own accord...and create confusion.
