What are the recommended browsers and hardware specifications for optimal functionality of the site?
To ensure that our web applications (i.e. Web Manuals administration, portal and reader services) work without functional limitations for our users, we encourage and recommend the following browsers:
- Google Chrome: latest major release for PC and Mac OS X
- Microsoft Edge: latest major release for PC
We do NOT recommend using:
- Firefox: latest major release for PC and Mac OS X (Only available with limited support)
- Safari: latest major release for Mac OS X (Only available with limited support)
For the Web Manuals applications interface to work without functional limitations, please ensure that your computer meets the following minimum hardware specifications:
- Processor: 2 GHz or faster
- Screen resolution: 1600x1200 or higher
- Network Connection: 10 Megabit/s
For the Web Manuals Reader App (EFB) to work without functional limitations, please ensure that the application is operated on the following devices:
- Apple iPad 3 or later: most recent or second most recent major releases of iOS
- Selected Windows-compatible devices with at least 9" screen size: latest major release of MS Windows
