The Media Library feature gives you the possibility to store and retrieve all your images within Web Manuals.
You can access the Media Library through Modules. There you'll see two sections: Shared Library and Document Library.
1. The Shared Library stores images accessible to all Admins and Editors, making it easy for them to access and use these images in their documents.
Users can create an unlimited number of categories in the Shared Library. Each category displays the total number of images alongside its name.
To add a category, simply click the corresponding button, enter a name, and save your changes.
2. Document Library displays a list of all documents containing images on your site. Editors and Admins can only view the listed documents to which they have access.
By selecting the ' Show References ' option from the overflow menu, users can quickly navigate to the location where the image is used in the document.
Clicking the 'Go to Location' icon will open the first page of the document.
Share and Unshare documents in the Shared Library
- Click on the overflow menu
- Click on Share / Unshare
- Select or more categories
- Click Save
Note: both Admin or Editor, can choose an image from the Document Library and add it to one or more shared categories, inside Shared Library.
