Is there a quick way of adding or deleting pages in my document

Yes! You can use the short command to add pages faster: 

  1. Go to Author 
  2. Open the page structure,
  3. Hold in CTRL (PC) or Command (MAC)
  4. Click a chapter page repeatedly, this will add the pages one by one with each click. 

To delete multiple pages:

  1. Go to Author 
  2. Open the page structure,
  3. Hold in SHIFT (PC & MAC)
  4. Click on pages you want to delete, this will delete the pages one by one with each click after saving.
