How to navigate through the NEW Reader App

The Reader view is displayed when selecting a web document from the Dashboard or your categories. To turn a page in a document, swipe your finger across a page from right to left to go to the next page and left to right to go to the previous one. To close a manual, slide down the open tab where the manual name is written.

1. Top Menu

Features different tools that can be utilized in the web document and provides quick access to the Dashboard and recent documents.

Takes you back to the previous pages viewed.

You can mark the page as your favorite by clicking on the star. You can unmark it as your favorite by clicking the button again. Just so you know, favorites are personal, which means that only you will be able to see your favorites.

Allows for comments to be added to a page and displays all page comments.

which will create a Task that will be assigned to the person that is responsible for administrating the manual. Other users cannot see a Change Request.

It allows you to rotate your pages.

Note: tapping twice on your screen will hide this toolbar for a better view of the entire document. Double-tap on the screen if you want to see the right toolbar again.

It makes the content adapt to the screen size. When it's on the whole page, the header and footer will be visible, it won't be necessary to scroll up or down to see the full content of the page.

2. Navigation Bar

You can navigate through the document via the navigation bar that spans the bottom portion of the screen. The bar has several different buttons on it.

Navigates to the first or last page of the document.

Navigates through chapters instead of pages.

Displays the previous or next page in the document.

This tool helps you navigate your document via the table of contents, pages, favorites pages, or annotations.

Shows the document's Table of Contents.

Shows the structure of your document by pages.

Displays your personal favorites pages for easy access to them.

Annotations
It is a list of all annotations made in the document. Every annotation shows the colored highlight applied to the text, the contents, and the text that the annotation refers to. You can open the page where the annotation was made by clicking on an annotation.

Search in Document

It allows users to search for content in this specific manual and display the history of searches.

It allows you to print the page you are reading, selected pages of the document, or the whole document.
